Pan Lei and Pan Yong, the Chinese brothers who invented a device to convert Apple Inc.’s iPod Touch into an iPhone, say they are innovators, not copycats.

Their Apple Peel 520 is a case including a circuit board and battery that wraps around the iPod Touch media player, allowing calls to be made after software is installed. The device, which requires breaking into Apple’s operating system, isn’t a counterfeit iPhone, Pan Lei, 25, told Bloomberg Television.

“We’re capable of coming up with something original,” Pan Lei, who quit his job as an interior designer to found Shenzhen, China-based Yosion Technology Co. with his 23-year-old software- engineer brother, said in an interview broadcast today.

The iPod music player has sold more than 220 million units since it was first released in 2001, according to the company. Apple first released its iPhone in 2007, climbing to 2.7 percent of the global market by June this year and sparking copycat models from Chinese grey market, or Shanzhai, vendors.

“The brothers who invented this Apple Peel probably ran down a list of how many ways could they annoy Steve Jobs,” said Jonathan Hudis, chairman of the American Bar Association’s Trademarks and Unfair Competition Division. “I could not see Apple standing by to let this continue, especially if it results in product shipping into the United States.”

U.S. users can save at least $770 by using the device to be priced at $60. Jill Tan, a Hong Kong-based spokeswoman for Apple, said any product that’s been tampered with won’t receive warranty support. Apple is aware of Apple Peel, she said, declining to comment further.

“Very Creative”

Apple Peel sells for 520 yuan ($78) on Taobao.com, China’s largest online shopping site. Yosion agreed to offer the device in the U.S. with New Orleans-based Go Solar USA Inc., whose website teaches users to “jailbreak” the iPod Touch in preparation for installing Apple Peel software.

U.S. users must sign a two-year contract with AT&T Inc. for the iPhone, paying at least $39.99 a month and $99 for the iPhone 3GS, or a total of $1,059. The iPod Touch sells from $229.

“We’re also very creative,” Pan Lei said. “Not just getting a Nokia phone and copy, getting Apple and copy, or a Samsung phone to copy as well. It shouldn’t be like that.”

Condom found in child's Happy meal

A New Zealand mother says she was shocked and disgusted that a condom had been found in her seven-year-old daughter's McDonald's meal.

Louise Whitaker from Wellington said her daughter Maia was with her sister April and her grandparents at a store when the condom was found on Tuesday night.

She said her mother discovered the opened condom after her daughter ordered a Happy Meal.

"I was just disgusted after I heard about it," Whitaker said.

"I was shocked. A seven-year-old ... I don't think she actually saw it, so she doesn't understand the whole thing. I am just lucky my mother discovered it."

She said the condom was returned before her mother checked whether or not it had been used.

McDonald's replaced the meal.

She said the fast food restaurant had not given her a formal apology nor explained how the condom came to be in the meal.

今日我覺得好開心:
一日可以關心一個朋友、同一班人開開心心一齊踢波、為朋友做啲嘢、哄一個朋友笑、啱啱搵噃失咗嘅嘢 (VICTORYYYYYY~)..
可以同朋友玩、笑、傾偈, 心裏有嗰種感覺: warm and fuzzy. :D

我今日真係好開心. 但某個事可以change我嘅心情completely.

Google sued after woman hit by car

A woman in the US is suing Google after she was hit by a car while following its map directions.

Lauren Rosenberg was visiting Park City, Utah, when she used Google Maps to navigate her walking course to Prospector Avenue from Daly Street.

The directions led her onto Deer Valley Drive, a busy rural highway without pavements, where she was hit by a car. She is now suing Google and the car’s driver over the for more than $US100,000 in damages over the incident.

Google asserts the directions Rosenberg sought came with a warning of caution for pedestrians.

Though Rosenberg claims she was not alerted to the possible dangers, after accessing Google Maps on her Blackberry, which does not contain the standard warning message.

Media reports have discussed common sense and using her eyes would have assisted in Rosenberg’s safe arrival.

Google Australia has made no comment on the case.

This is so brilliant! An anti-rape female condom invented by Sonette Ehlers… A South African women working as a blood technician with the South African Blood Transfusion Service, during which time she met and treated many rape victims.

The device, known as The Rape-aXe, is a latex sheath embedded with shafts of sharp, inward-facing microscopic barbs that would be worn by a woman in her vagina like a tampon. If an attacker were to attempt vaginal rape, their penis would enter the latex sheath and be snagged by the barbs, causing the attacker pain during withdrawal and (ideally) giving the victim time to escape. The condom would remain attached to the attacker’s body when he withdrew and could only be removed surgically, which would alert hospital staff and police. This device could assist in the identification and prosecution of rapists.

教室裡的女聲 1

「唉~又下雨了，到處都濕濕的，也沒辦法偷溜出去玩。」我對著我的室友說著，我們是住在學校的宿舍，所以學校有門禁時間，到了晚上九點就不能在離開宿舍，雖然我常常偷溜出去。
不過她似乎沒在聽說我說話，還是在啃她的小說。不過這樣的她還真是美耶，長髮垂在肩上，而那白裡透紅的皮膚，還有她那修長的腿，看上去真是個十足的美人兒，其實我暗戀她還蠻久的。雖然我是個女生，她似乎好像沒有發現我很喜歡她。
「……」我們都沒說話，空氣呈現了一種寂靜的感覺。
「阿！我忘記帶國文課本上來了耶，明天要考。光代，你有帶國文課本上來嗎？」
「沒耶，你要回去拿嗎？」她回我話，因為她的小說看完了。
「恩，因為這課解釋要被超多的。你要陪我去嗎？」雖然我常常偷溜出去但是因我會怕，所以每次光代都有陪我。
「你自己去吧！我要算數學了。小心點阿，明日葉。」她揮了揮手。
「好吧……」我拿著手電筒，因為晚上通往我們班的那一條的走廊，晚上看整個就是黑的。伸手完全不見五指。
我偷偷的下著樓梯，這時間有警衛在看監視器，所以如果搭電梯會被發現，還好這裡只是三樓，不至於下樓梯下的很久。
我輕輕的走著，不讓我的腳步聲太大聲，被發現的話是會被記警告的。
「……」我很害怕，因為終於走到要前往教室的那條走廊了，我拿著手電筒慢慢前進。
我小心的轉開教室的門把，不讓開門發出任何聲音。
躡手躡腳的跑到我的座位，拿了我的國文課本……
「嗚……嗚……」我疑似聽到女孩子的啜泣聲。
我懷疑自己是不是聽錯了，但我什麼都不敢多想，以不發出聲音最快的跑法跑回宿舍。
「呼！呼！」
「你用跑的阿？」光代問我。
「恩……我剛剛在教室的時候好像聽到女生在哭耶……」我微微顫抖的說。
「別開玩笑了啦！」光代不相信我的話，她認為我在開玩笑。
「是真真真真真的！！」我篤定的說。
「好啦！好啦！趕快背書啦！不是還要考試？」她敷衍我的說著。
「可是……，好吧。」我還是覺得有點恐怖，但我沒有在多說什麼，既然光代不相信我，那麼說在多也沒什麼用。
我就只好逕自的被自己的國文，而後被完我就睡了，沒有想太多。

一早起來，隨便把我凌亂的黑髮紮起，正準備叫醒光代的時候……
「嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿嘿！一切都是輪迴……」我聽到一陣怪笑，那聲音帶點刺耳以及尖銳，而那聲音正是光代發出的。
而後光代就這樣暈過去了。
「……」我默默不語的看著光代，想著到底該如何是好，這時光代的額頭上出現了一條怵目驚心的血，鮮血源源不停的流下，而光代卻是一動也不動，我趕緊拿出急救箱，幫光代做些簡單的緊急處理，我打了電話，但是沒有訊號，之後我揹起光代，我打算帶她去醫院，雖然說光代的身軀修長是修長但是其實她還蠻輕的。
我跑到電梯門口前，我按了按電梯，但是電梯動都沒動，應該是故障了吧，宿舍的這個電梯因為歷史悠久，所以常常故障。
我打開安全梯的門，打算從這裡趕快把光代送去醫院。
我小心的跑著，免的把衝擊太大把光代額頭上的傷弄得更大。
總覺得怪怪的，我一直跑著，但是我看了看樓層——B1，咦？剛剛有經過一樓嗎？可是我剛剛怎麼沒瞧見，我往上跑。之後我不禁愣住了，現在這裡是二樓，沒有一樓，怎麼會……！？
「一……切……才……剛……要……開……始……」我聽到光代的聲音，不知她是怎麼了，怎麼講了連我都不太能理解的話。
我覺得後背濕濕的，我往後一瞧，我看見光代的血正不停源源的湧出，血越流越多，而且奇怪的是，有一種小蟲不停的從光代的血液中爬出，而且越來越多，而光代的臉上浮現出一種詭異的笑容，血液從嘴中噴出，噴在我的臉上，而那些細小的蟲子，像是要侵蝕我一般，不停的咬著我的肉，而後我的身上便佈滿了大大小小的傷，那些傷比想像中還痛，之後我便昏倒了……
朦朧中，我似乎看見一個人，我聽到他對我說……
『快回去你原來的世界吧……你早已死去……』
我開始想著，記得以前我似乎在路上被人圍毆，而因為血液流失過多，所以無法繼續活下去。
在想著這些事的時候，我看見我自己的屍體，身上印滿案褐色的血，我發現自己的四肢居然是被切除下來的，同樣是放在棺材裡頭，但是詭異的是我的四肢被一塊塊的分解，整齊的放在我的身旁，所以現在的我，只是存活在自我的幻想記憶中？那麼昨日的女孩啜泣聲也是來召喚我回去的？一切有了合理的解釋，我相信自己並不存活於現在的現實中，我感覺到自己的身體逐漸腐爛，有種黏滑的感覺，而那些小蟲似乎還在咬我的身體，就讓牠們吃吧，反正我本來就不是這現實中的人物，就算是那也只是過去。
我聽到一聲尖叫，我便張開了眼。
「你怎麼了？明日葉，怎麼在這裡睡著了呢？」是光代。
我看了看四周，剛剛的景象完全消失不見，但是能讓我相信那不是幻覺的是，我手上似乎還有小蟲咬傷的痕跡，到底是怎麼回事？
我似乎聽到空氣中有個女孩的聲音，她說什麼我不清楚，但我決定不要想太多好了，我抓了抓頭髮打算起身去班上教室。

一切才剛要開始……

我和光代回去宿舍房間，打算整理書包再去教室上課。

到底剛剛發生了什麼是阿？那真的是一場夢嗎？我深思著。我看了看我的手，奇異的是那些像是小蟲咬傷的痕跡全不見了，只剩下被小蟲咬傷的麻木感，感覺很不對勁，但卻又說不上來是怎樣的不對勁。

「明日葉！」光代叫我。
「嗄？怎麼了？」
「你為什麼今天人在安全梯那邊啊？而且好像睡的很熟的樣子，你怎麼了？」
要怎麼說阿？總不能說我看到她額頭上的鮮血直流，然後我打算揹她到醫院，怎麼辦阿……
「你有在聽我說話嗎？」光代一臉疑惑，摸著我的頭，大概是認為我發燒了。
「……應該是夢遊吧！」
「老師來了，我先回座位了。」

「今天是誰打掃走廊的阿？走廊亂七八糟的。」
呃……好像是我吧！我抬頭看了看老師，打算舉手自首。等等！那是老師嗎？我看見老師的頭皮全不見了，只剩下大量的鮮血不停的湧出，而那些小蟲在老師的頭上不停的鑽來鑽去，看起來很噁心。

我朝四周看了看同學，他們一臉平常的樣子，似乎好像沒什麼不對勁。
到底怎麼了？

我突然想起一句話，那是光代從同學那裡聽說的。

『聽說阿……到了晚上接近十二點時……

你會聽到啜泣聲，而到隔天，你會發現這世界變了……

變成你不在熟悉的世界了……不過應該是開玩笑的吧。』光代那時說的，是真的嗎？

我從鉛筆盒裡拿出美工刀，我衝向老師，我認為只要把她解決掉就不會在有這種情況發生了，我想要活下去，這是我腦中下意識的想法。有同學阻止我，但是我仍朝老師砍去，鮮血不停噴出，有些也噴到我的臉上了，我隨意的擦了擦，我對老師猛砍，結果……

突然一切的景象恢復正常，而老師倒在地上，沒了呼吸。
同學紛紛圍上前看，用怪罪的眼神看著我，不懂我為什麼要把老師殺害，我開始胡言亂語。

「我、我不是故意的，只是老師剛剛不像平常的老師，她是別人假冒的……」我眼淚不停的湧出，我的罪惡感好重。

隱隱約約，似乎又聽到女孩說話的聲音，但是這個聲音不是班上同學的……

『解決掉……一個了……真是太好了……很快很快就可以……』我沒聽到後面最重要的部分。
「明日葉……，你到底怎麼一回事？」光代用哭喪的臉問著我。
從她的臉上看的出來她非常害怕我，她怕我像剛剛一樣失控，她那眼神像是看的怪獸一般，看到她那樣讓我很痛心，但是我沒有資格說些什麼。
我到底怎麼了？我抱著頭，跪在地上痛哭，似乎是在為老師哀悼，我開始尖叫，因為我看到老師的靈魂掐住我的脖子，快不能呼吸了……

「她瘋了，她真的瘋了……我們去找主任來，快點。大家一起去，免的她又對別人下手。」同學都用帶點悲傷又帶點像是怪物的眼神看著我。
最後一個離開教室的是美奈，她對我說。
「我很欣賞你喔，不過你似乎又太笨了些。呵呵——」她的笑聲很刺耳，就如同鬼魅的奸笑聲。

我愣住，細細的思考美奈的話。
過不久，主任跑來了，他用古怪的眼神看著我，我睨著眼看了他一眼，我繼續思考美奈所說的話。

「明日葉！」主任輕聲喚我，深怕我會做出什麼恐怖的舉動樣子。
我看著他，我正把玩著方才殺死老師的美工刀，我想我或許是瘋了。

「……我想請你的父母來學校一趟。」他平穩的說出這句話。

父母？哼！我根本就沒有父母，我從小就活在孤兒院，是後來靠善心人士的資助才得以讓我在這讀書。

「主任，她是孤兒。」那是我很熟悉的聲音，沒錯是光代，沒想到光代會把我的身分說出，我覺得很受傷，我惱羞成怒，我瞪著光代。
「原來是沒有父母管教的野孩子。」主任輕蔑的說我，我只覺得眼框裡大的淚水即將滑出，我輕輕的拿起美工刀，朝主任的胸口拼命的砍，而主任就像是魁壘般的任我擺佈，不自覺的我露出一抹微笑，我呵呵的笑著，看著地上又再度被我砍死的主任，又是一陣快樂，原來殺人是這麼的痛快。

同學瞪大眼睛看著我把主任解決，不敢過來阻止我，他們想要保命。
而我則是看著光代，現在的她比從前更加美麗了，因為害怕而恐懼的眼神，還有她那想要保命的決心，光代不明白我為何用怪異的眼神看著她，只是被我這樣看，她身邊的氣息更多加了分恐懼。
多麼美妙的場景阿，我想要把光代也殺了，既然她說出我的身分，那麼即使我多喜歡她也沒有用，她只不過是個自私的女人。

我把美工刀的鮮血隨意用制服擦乾，走向光代。

「你知道嗎？其實我很喜歡你，所以我想你死在我的手上，或許也會是好的……」不自覺的我朝了她微笑。
「……別過來！」她害怕的驚聲尖叫，那聲音是那麼的尖銳刺耳阿，或許我曾經很熟悉這聲音，但是我現在恨不得解決掉我眼前的獵物。
我伸手從書包拿出童軍繩，用蠻力把光代的手腳綁住，讓她沒有動彈的能力，我甩了甩美工刀，直接朝光代的大動脈狠很的一割，看在我這麼喜歡你的份上，我讓你輕鬆的死去好了。

同學們只是愣愣的看著我在他們面前解決老師、主任還有光代，他們不約而同的逃離教室，他們不想和老師他們一樣。
收回美工刀，我看了看教室，打算去找其他獵物。

這時，隱隱約約似乎又有女孩的聲音。

『很好……做的很好……』
我微笑，看來有人肯定我這麼做。
卻殊不知女孩的目的，而我目前只是喜歡殺害人類的，瘋狂殺人王吧……

「呵呵——」我笑了出來，我看了看光代的座位，卻不知為何眼框中有著眼淚。

我看了看手中的美工刀，我覺得自己很可怕，明明昨天一切還是那麼的正常，就只因為我眼睛所看到的幻象，而我就這樣殺了他們，我是那麼的喜歡光代阿，為什麼？為什麼！

我抱著頭，大聲哭喊尖叫，看上去像是瘋子一般。

『別怕……你做的是對的……』
我又聽到了女孩的聲音，她給了我引導，我擦乾眼淚，我做的是對的，我給了自己藉口，一給拙劣到不行的藉口。

「只要我把班上同學都殺掉，就不會有人知道我殺人的事，這樣往後我就可以過著以前平凡人的生活了……」
我把美工刀和童軍繩拿著，以備不時之需，不過我想還是換一種武器好了。
我走在走廊上，走廊上只有我的腳步聲，校園中染起了一種詭異的氣息。
走著走著，我看到工友伯伯。

「伯伯，我們搬上童軍課需要用到鋸子，我們要鋸木頭，老師要我跟你借鋸子。」我對他微笑。
「噢，好。跟我來吧。」我跟著他走著。
我看見天空有著半帶透明又半帶鮮紅的身影，那個東西發出一個聲音，我有聽到，不過我看了看工友伯伯，他似乎聽不到的樣子。

『我們一起解決掉他吧。』是那個女孩的聲音。
我微笑，朝她微微點頭。

「拿去吧，要小心用阿……」工友的話還沒說完，只見剛剛那名詭異的身影突然用她鮮紅的長髮把工友纏住，一層又一層，工友動彈不得，而我則是拿起工友的鋸子，朝他拼命砍去。
鮮紅色的血朝我飛濺過來，我不理會，感到一絲痛快。
工友伯伯就這樣倒了，躺在血泊中，隱隱約約我看他的眼睛，似乎是在瞪我，像是在為他死不瞑目的命討點公道。
「又死了一個阿……呵呵呵——」跟我有關聯的人都必須除掉。

不過我突然頓住了，我看見學校染上了鮮紅的顏色。
而被我殺死的人以及學校中的鬼魂正在學校飄蕩，揉了揉眼睛，依舊一樣，學校已經不再是我過去的學校了。
到底是怎麼回事？一切是我引起的？只有我看的到這些？腦中滿是疑問，但我知道這些疑問是沒有解答的。
我感到有點噁心想吐，我就這麼的在地上嘔吐了起來，而我所吐出的嘔吐物，居然是……

一隻一隻的白色小蟲從我嘴裡吐出，我不知道那是什麼，不過我覺得小蟲好像曾經看過，阿！

那是我之前在光代身上看到的蟲。我看見那些蟲不停的繁殖，朝我過來，不斷侵蝕的我的身體，一切是那麼的真實，我捏了我的手一下，這不是幻覺……
我撥開往我身上侵蝕的小蟲，準備往校外奔去。
那些小蟲跟著我來，我往後一看，我看到光代的靈魂，也看到主任的靈魂，這世界瘋了，瘋了……

眼淚流出，我居然離不開學校……
明明只差幾公尺，但是總覺得很遙遠，我根本就是在原地跑。
我往身後的主任還有光代以及工友伯伯看，他們表情甚是扭曲，鮮血留了滿地，而那些小蟲越來越多，不停朝著我過來。
看著他們，我停下腳步，看著他們，我感動到不能自己，一切很真實也很模糊，眼淚沁滿我的眼中，真美的情景阿……

他們追到了我，把我抓起用他們知道的殘忍方式虐待我，我笑中帶淚的看著他們，他們遲疑了一會兒，但是還是繼續手上的工作，他們正在玩弄我的生命。
最後老師也過來了，拿著美工刀，我感覺不到疼痛，我只知道我很享受現在，我早就已經……放棄了自己的生命。
隱隱約約，我看見飄在天上的那名少女，微微的笑。多麼的妖艷阿……

而後他們解決完我後，他們飄離這裡，找尋新的獵物，我看到其他的人也被他們解決了，大家都倒在地上，痛苦不已。
我微笑，帶著沒有遺憾的心情，閉上了眼。

那名在天空中的少女輕輕的開了口說。

『你不過是被我利用的人，

第一次看到被我利用的人能這麼享受的接受這樣的幻覺……

不過一旦當你接受了……

你的人生將會跟幻覺一樣結束……

機上，本來好地地。。淨番十幾分鈡，牙開始痛。

天氣呢，就凍過brisbane多多聲。。

上高就係琴日。
今日，有一位表姑媽帶我地去star city食美味的西餐。

This morning, i had a dream concerning two people that have a 高地位 in my life.
I didn't expect it to make me cry ==
ugh. I cried for about three hours while sleeping and dreaming.
Sad isn't it

it's funny because I was feeling sad the night before for a particular reasn stated in the post before....
I said.. I might try sleeping and see how it works for cheering me up/ taking my mind off the matter;;
but I end up having a dream that makes me cry for three hours. fml

now I'm scared of going to sleep. ==

Teachers threaten test ban over My School concerns

Education groups are calling on the Federal Government to make changes to its My School website following the publication of ranked lists in this morning's papers.
The Australia Education Union (AEU) says the publication of crude league tables has already begun, with Fairfax and News Limited papers printing lists of schools this morning using information available on the website.
Teachers' groups say if nothing is done to stop it happening again, they will refuse to administer the NAPLAN tests.
Federal Education Minister Julia Gillard says the website has been immensely popular with parents, but AEU president Angelo Gavrielatos says that is not the issue.
"Incomplete, invalid, inaccurate data, have now seen the production of crude, damaging, simplistic league tables," he said.
"Julia Gillard must now act. Julia Gillard must fulfil her obligation as the Minister for Education to protect students and school communities from the damage that will follow."
Industry groups have vowed to continue pressuring the Government into correcting what it says are the site's huge inaccuracies.
Ms Gillard says she has spent two years discussing the issue with the union.
"They've raised their issues with me, I've talked to them about it and having had all those conversations, I simply don't agree," she said.
"I am disappointed by the union's stance threatening to ban national testing this year."
Meanwhile, the headmaster of an elite private boy's school in Hobart has warned comparisons on the My School website are unreliable.
Scores for the Hutchins school range from average to significantly above average in all but one category when compared with all schools on the website.
But among a group of schools the website says are statistically similar, it is rated as below average in six of the 20 categories.
Principal Warwick Dean says he will raise the issue with the site's administrators.
"The Hutchins School is a kindergarten to year 12 boys school with a boarding house, and many schools that are in that basket of supposedly similar schools are actually girls' primary schools," he said.

According to google maps it takes 133 steps to get from Brisbane to California AND IT WILL TAKE... 54 days and 20 hours :L
